How is Cegeka different from large telcos like Proximus?

We focus solely on 5G solutions for the B2B market

With its own 5G spectrum license, Cegeka will be the fourth mobile operator in the B2B market, and different from large mobile network operators (MNOs) for 3 main reasons:

  1. Cegeka only offers B2B or B2G solutions and is not a competitor to Proximus at B2C level, unlike Orange and Telenet. This means Cegeka solely focusses on the needs of enterprises with goal to fully optimize its solutions for the B2B market without having to make any technical tradeoffs to accommodate the needs of consumers.
  2. Cegeka doesn’t own heavy, expensive legacy hardware that needs to be migrated - a challenge that traditional MNOs will face in order to optimize their historical investments in radio access networks and spectrum licenses. Because no integration with an older mobile infrastructure is needed, we can offer greenfield implementations that are innovative and disruptive.
  3. We offer advanced end-to-end connectivity through the “slicing” capability of 5G with Quality of Service (QoS) over radio and core network infrastructure.
