Turn on your headlights: Testing in DevOps and Continuous Delivery
Succeeding with continuous delivery requires more than the right infrastructure. We want to get changes out frequently as well as recover from problems quickly. To do this with confidence, we need feedback to learn about the impact of our changes. Ashley Hunsberger has said that you can do continuous delivery without automated tests - but it’s like driving at night without your headlights. We turn on those headlights with automated tests as well as many other testing activities.
