For a client located in Anderlecht in the banking sector, Cegeka is looking for an enthusiastic Onsite Support Engineer! You will join the IT Onsite Support team where you are co-responsible for the first and second line support for many employees. As the first point of contact for all IT-related requests and incidents, you will handle these via ticketing, telephony or walk-ins. You will be part of a close-knit team. 

  • You solve users' problems, always trying to translate these into the most useful solution for the end user. You will immerse yourself in the end user and try to help him/her as much as possible by thinking along with him/her. This can be via the onsite helpdesk or other channels (mail/telephony).
  • You enjoy making workstations ready for use, installing software, arranging authorizations, solving hardware problems and performing periodic maintenance on IT systems.
  • You are responsible for taking, registering, logging, following up and closing calls.
  • You are responsible for all company assets and will track/track this in the CMDB (Configuration Management Database).
  • In addition, you do so much but! This makes your job varied and exciting!

What you need to succeed:

  • An education in IT, or you have been active within the IT sector for a number of years.
  • Experience in a Service Desk environment.
  • During your career you have built up knowledge and experience of Active Directory, Azure, Intune, Office 365, IMACD service (install, move, add, configure, delete), Ticketing (handling, creation, escalation) and creating / handling documentation, among others.
  • You are communicative and friendly, making users eager to come to you for answers to their questions.
  • You are proactive and analytically strong and know how to quickly arrive at solutions by connecting the right components.
  • In stressful situations, you manage to remain calm and alert.
  • Others describe you as a reliable person, who values punctuality and can communicate clearly!
  • You are fluent in Dutch, English and French!
  • You are willing to travel daily to the office in Anderlecht between office hours. Of course we offer you a company car.
