Would you like to work on different and complex software development projects for big customers in the logistics, financial, insurance and pharmaceutical industry? Our division Smart Services is looking for an experienced Project Manager!  Smart Services offers innovative solutions to structurally modernize their existing application landscapes.  We provide strategic advice on how to successfully complete a digital transformation on a technological and organizational level. Outdated applications can be renewed in order to make optimal use of the possibilities of the Cloud.  Furthermore, Smart Services integrates existing application landscapes with new applications and we develop custom software where necessary.

  • You work with large and complex customers within our Application Modernization offering.
  • You realize project objectives with respect for quality, budget, time & scope.
  • You are the main contact person for your client(s) and you develop a 'trusted advisor' relationship with all project & program stakeholders.
  • You monitor the project status together with your team and your customer(s).
  • You work closely with your operations manager and the division director.
  • You will join a business unit where you not only have an impact on your personal development, but also on the growth of the division.
  • Identifying new opportunities with customers and helping with presales files is part of your role.
  • You proactively manage project risks & issues.
  • You put together a well-functioning team and you make estimates and plannings.
  • You participate in collaborative hiring actions such as interviewing new project team leaders and you also dive into your own network.
  • You can count on the support of your project management colleagues by participating in the PM guild, and you can use a wide library of templates, processes, lessons learned and examples.
  • You choose the Cegeka location at which you work (Corda Hasselt, Ghent, Leuven, Antwerp) in combination with working from home. You are also willing to visit our customer(s) who are located in Flanders

What you need to succeed:

  • You have at least 3 years of experience as a project manager within Agile software projects in a B2B environment, managing projects of 500+ man days.
  • Experience with software integration projects is a big plus.
  • Coordinating and aligning between projects is key for you.
  • Because of your domain knowledge, social skills, flexibility and engagement, you succeed in gaining our customer’s and team’s trust.
  • You are used to having challenging customer discussions in a constructive way, where you focus on finding a solution.
  • You have a helicopter view, but don’t underestimate the importance of details.  
  • You’re familiar with planning and optimizing your available resources.  
  • Working together is key for you in order to focus on achieving the project results. 
  • You have worked with project methodologies such as Prince2, PMBOK, Scrum, SAFe.
