European IT provider Cegeka is taking over all shares in CRM expert Avento. With the acquisition, Cegeka is further expanding its CRM activities, among other things, by adding a dedicated mobile Microsoft D365 solution for the sales and merchandising teams. Avento will be integrated into Cegeka Business Solutions, Cegeka Group's partner for Microsoft D365 solutions. No financial details of the acquisition will be disclosed.

Headquartered in Mechelen, Avento introduced a mobile CRM system built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Resco Mobile CRM. It enables field managers to work more quickly, efficiently and in full synchronisation with the back office. Even offline, on any device and in any platform.

Focus on specific industries & international opportunities
By taking over Avento, Cegeka is reinforcing its position in the area of Microsoft Customer Engagement (CRM). “The Avento solutions are designed with a particular focus on the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industry. We firmly believe that our solutions offer significant added value to our customers' mobile sales teams and that they contribute to solving their challenges quickly and efficiently,” says Anton Vreugdenhil, CEO of Cegeka Business Solutions.
