‘Today, we live in a hyper-connected world. Our goal is to facilitate connections between people, devices, applications, and data. Observability is a key concept in monitoring and managing such complex and distributed systems. It enables us not only to mitigate risks but also to enhance the performance and experience of the digital ecosystems we support,’ says Stijn Bijnens, CEO of Cegeka. ‘In Key-Performance, we have found a partner with a proven track record in observability and in-depth expertise of Dynatrace, for example. By integrating this specialisation with Cegeka Managed Services, we can offer our customers the next crucial step in optimising their digital experiences,’ says Bart Watteeuw, Global VP Infrastructure.

Taking customers’ digital experiences to the next level

At Cegeka, we continuously invest in improving our customers’ digital experiences. ‘Digital experience management goes beyond simply monitoring the IT infrastructure of customer environments. Key-Performance’s focus on observability will enable us to optimise performance and minimise downtime, for instance. This is essential for the ultimate user experience. Thanks to the additional expertise, we can also provide evidence of compliance with imposed regulations. Whether it’s following guidelines like DORA, NIS2, or other industry-specific regulations, we can provide the framework that supports these guidelines,’ says Watteeuw.

Enhanced end-to-end monitoring: from infrastructure to applications

Key-Performance is a specialist in performance engineering, observability and quality assurance, with its headquarters in Louvain-La-Neuve and operations in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg. Key-Performance’s core activities include professional services, implementation projects, and training. Specifically, this involves application performance management, performance and load testing, and autonomous performance optimisation.

‘At Cegeka, we have made significant efforts to promote synergy between our infrastructure business and applications. Following the strengthening of our capabilities in application testing through the acquisition of CTG, we are now introducing additional expertise in areas including performance monitoring,’ says Watteeuw.

‘Our goal was to find a partner that would allow Key-Performance to grow in an ecosystem that guarantees the quality of service and proximity that our customers are used to. When Cegeka approached us, we were immediately convinced by the spirit of the people we met. Cegeka is a family-owned company and proximity to the customer is a key value. The entire Key-Performance team quickly embraced the project. By linking our expertise with Cegeka’s growth engine, we can further expand our capabilities to support customers across Europe,’ says Michel Kalis, General Manager of Key-Performance.
