In 1 week, Cegeka will develop a blockchain Proof of Concept (PoC) for your company.

This is a simple but functional blockchain application that will allow you to:

Discover and validate the added value of blockchain for your organization.

Evaluate whether blockchain technology is the right solution for your objectives. This is all done in a rapid, critical and targeted manner.

Approach & Agenda

Day 1

Training

In the morning we organize an up-to-date blockchain training session on the basic concepts and use cases. (4 hours)

Afterwards, we organize a workshop to formulate the question(s) to be addressed by the PoC. (4 hours)

Days 2 – 4

Development of the application

Our Cegeka team develops a customized PoC for your organization based on the information and requirements that were discussed.

We organize daily scrum meetings by telephone to achieve the best result in close cooperation.

Day 5

Presentation & Evaluation

We present the functional blockchain application that our team has carefully developed for your organization.

We test and evaluate the PoC together. After that, we discuss the available steps for further cooperation.

Who should participate in the PoC?

Cegeka deploys the right people to ensure the success of the PoC-in-1-week:

Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) solution expert

Responsible for:

  • Initial brainstorm session and validation of the DLT use case
  • Professional advice on potential next steps
Customer Proxy

Responsible for:

  • Analysis and definition of the scope
  • Drafting an initial product backlog
Customer Proxy / Project leader

Responsible for:

  • Supporting the PoC project

You select the most suitable colleagues (max. 6) within your organization.

We expect them to:

  • Have a minimum level of knowledge about Distributed Ledger Technology
  • Have read Cegeka’s Blockchain Starter Kit
  • Have the required specific knowledge about the current and the future situation
  • Have a constructive mindset, with a willingness to think outside the box

Terms and conditions

Practical information

  • Our PoC project takes 5 full consecutive working days.
  • You select a suitable location (to include whiteboard, flipcharts, video projector) for the training, workshop and presentation of the application.

IT

  • The application is developed around a single use case.
  • Both the Ethereum and Hyperledger blockchain platforms are supported in the demo application.
  • The application is hosted on your active Microsoft Azure subscription. We can help you to set this up if required. It is not possible to run the application on your existing (internal) environment.
  • You will receive a functional application, including a user licence for the smart contract code developed by Cegeka. The smart contract will remain the property of Cegeka, as per our terms and conditions.

Legal

  • The content, including the training materials and the Blockchain Starter Kit made available to you by Cegeka, is subject to copyright protection.
  • No intellectual property will be developed or transferred between you and Cegeka during the PoC-in-1-week.
  • Cegeka may mention you as a valued customer and reference on its website and in other communication channels. The application that is developed will not be distributed.
