Project Manager (Digital Forensics) - Contract

Cegeka UK are seeking a BPSS cleared Project Manager with specialist knowledge within Digital Forensics, on behalf of our UK Central Government client. Our client requires support in identifying the scope of possibility to create an internal Digital Forensics team.   Starting ASAP, this would operate in a full-time, predominantly remote capacity with occasional ad-hoc travel to our client’s Birmingham site, for 7 months, and would sit inside of IR35.   Responsibilities include:  

  • Assessing and understanding the organisation’s digital forensics need
  • Assessing what equipment, accreditation and staffing would be required to run and manage this unit
  • Support the development of relevant written policies and procedures
  • Develop relationships at a national and regional level with similar organizations around this subject matter

What you need to succeed:

  • Understanding of ISO 17025:2017 and Forensic Science Regulator accreditation
  • A strong and demonstratable understanding of Digital Forensics
  • Experience of horizon scanning to keep abreast of emerging agendas and issues
  • Strong knowledge of research activities and projects using a range of techniques
