As a Digital Workplace Security Engineer within Cegeka's Digital Workplace Security team, your primary focus will be on design, build, and implementation, while also supporting our Security Operations Center (SOC) in monitoring and response activities.#LI-RC3

  • You will work as an engineer within Cegeka's Digital Workplace Security team, supporting and advising both Cegeka and its customers in their day-to-day operations. This includes defining security roadmaps, establishing best practices, and implementing security solutions.
  • Personal initiative and a proactive attitude toward developing new solutions are strongly encouraged within the team. You will be actively involved in improvement initiatives, and your contributions will have a direct impact on tomorrow's technical solutions.
  • You will help develop new security services and capabilities within the Digital Workplace Security team and play a crucial role in building end-to-end security solutions for Cegeka and its customers.
  • Together with your colleagues, you will become the go-to expert within Cegeka for all Digital Workplace Security-related topics, particularly around products within the Microsoft 365 E5 Security Suite.
  • You will provide second- and third-line support for security incident handling and coordinate with the SOC to develop new predefined procedures that can be used for rapid response scenarios.
  • You will support various customer teams in designing and implementing security solutions.
  • You will actively promote the mission and vision of the department and encourage colleagues and customers to embrace these principles.

What you need to succeed:

  • You have a broad interest in technology and is responsible for a wide range of security technologies and capabilities. 
  • You have a strong passion for and experience with the following areas and are eager to dive deeper into them:
  • Azure Active Directory Premium (P1 and P2)
  • Microsoft Defender for Identity, Microsoft Defender for Office 365, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Defender Antivirus,
  • Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps (formerly Cloud App Security)
  • Azure Information Protection (P1 and P2)
  • Identity Protection, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and related technologies
  • Microsoft Sentinel
  • You have 1 to 2+ years of experience working with the Microsoft E5 Security Suite and have already completed customer implementations.
  • You possess sufficient expertise to engage in discussions with customer CISOs and security stakeholders.
  • You feel at home in Cegeka's results-driven, no-nonsense culture.
  • You think proactively from the customer's perspective and have strong communication skills in English.
  • You are capable of working independently and are a flexible, resilient team player.
