We’re hiring a Junior Data Engineer to support our data and reporting operations. You’ll work with Power BI, SQL, and ETL tools to ensure high-quality data delivery and platform performance while learning from senior professionals.

  • Support end-users by delivering solutions for requests and incident related to Power BI, SSRS reports, subscriptions, data content, and data quality.
  • Monitor and maintain the analytics platform, ensuring daily ETL processes run smoothly; troubleshoot and resolve incidents independently or with senior support.
  • Develop smaller change requests: implement dataflows and pipelines or build Power BI dashboards.
  • Collaborate with data architects and senior engineers to design and implement solutions.
  • Ensure platform health by monitoring job execution, following up on incidents, and maintaining SLAs.
  • Grow your skills through on-the-job learning and relevant certifications.

What you need to succeed:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Informatics, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or similar.
  • Some experience with Power BI and SQL (queries and procedures).
  • Working knowledge in a support environment.
  • Good understanding of Incident and Problem Management and SLAs.
  • Familiarity with ITIL principles.
  • Knowledge of ticketing tools.
  • Knowledge of Azure data stack (Azure SQL DB, Data Factory, Databricks).
  • Experience with ETL development (T-SQL, SSMS) and Microsoft BI stack (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS).
  • Understanding of data warehouse principles (Kimball, Inmon, Data Vault).
  • Familiarity with PowerShell, Python, or other programming languages.
  • Awareness of DTAP environments, Azure DevOps, and general IT principles.
