Databricks Data Architect

• In your role as Databricks Data Architect, you will work closely with experienced colleagues to set up Data Platforms in Databricks. Based on a thorough analysis of customer requirements (technical and business stakeholders), you will work with your colleagues on proposals that cover technological, commercial, and financial aspects. You will ensure a clear and attractive presentation for customers.
• You find a complex Business & IT environment challenging. As an architect, you will determine the architecture of the future Data Platform together with the customer and you have final responsibility for this. You will translate the existing architecture into a concrete roadmap and a long-term plan with a clear and proactive vision for the future. You involve stakeholders effectively and gather as much information as possible to fully understand your customers' needs.
• You have a keen eye for opportunities and can inspire customers to embrace new technologies. Your persuasiveness and passion are invaluable in this process.
• You play a key role in quotation processes, responding to tenders, and developing comprehensive business cases.
• You are structured and analytical, you can easily make abstractions and you have a problem-solving mindset.
• Your coaching style enables you to elevate other project members to a higher level.
• As a strong communicator, you have no trouble giving engaging presentations to customers and prospects.
• You have a passion for continuous self-development and stay up to date with the latest innovations. Databricks and/ or Microsoft certifications are a must.

• You are an expert in Data Intelligence with at least 6 years of experience in data-related positions, preferably with experience in Solution Architecture, and you have in-dept knowledge of Microsoft Azure Data & AI Services (Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Factory, Fabric, Azure Databricks, etc.) and other technologies, frameworks, and platforms (Snowflake, Huggingface, Cloud native setups, ...).
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, PySpark, Powershell, Terraform, GitHub, large-scale, real-time data platforms and DataOps is a major plus.
• You are able to identify and analyze the business needs of customers (both at C-level and within technical teams) and translate them into concrete solutions. You are result-oriented and strive to offer added value to your customers.
• You present these solutions in a clear commercial text, understanding and simplifying complexities and ensuring an attractive visualization of the proposal.
• You naturally inspire confidence and strive to collaborate with your customers as effectively as possible.
• You have a flexible, independent, and collegial attitude.
• Good communication skills, customer focus and accuracy are also very important in this role.
