Cegeka UK are seeking a Telecommunication Operator-specialist Engagement Lead who is cleared to a high Government level on behalf of our UK Central Government client. Our client requires support in the delivery and maintenance of crucial capabilities that underpin the operational effectiveness of law enforcement agencies and the intelligence community. Starting early November, this would operate in a full-time, hybrid capacity, with an expectation of circa 1 day per week on-site requirement, and would sit inside of IR35. Responsibilities include:

  • Building and sustaining strong partnerships with telecommunications providers to support the operational needs of law enforcement Input into month-end processes including updating schedule progress
  • Oversee strategic work initiatives, the roll-out of new and emerging capabilities across telecommunication operators, and business as usual activities
  • Ensure secure and compliant access to communications data while adhering to relevant legislative frameworks
  • Drive ongoing improvement, and ensure that all objectives are delivered within a highly regulated environment.

What you need to succeed:

  • Communications data subject matter expertise
  • Telecommunication Operator knowledge and expertise
  • In-depth knowledge of the Investigatory Powers Act 2016 and its application to operational capabilities
  • Proven experience of managing relationships with law enforcement, UKIC and working with sensitive capabilities.
