ServiceNow Developer - Contract

Cegeka UK are seeking an SC cleared ServiceNow Developer, on behalf of our UK Central Government client. Our client requires support in development of enterprise workflows and data-driven decisions within their in-house ServiceNow capability.   Starting ASAP, this would operate in a full-time, hybrid capacity for 12 months at any of our client’s 50+ UK Hubs, and would sit inside of IR35.   Responsibilities include:  

  • Utilisation of  ServiceNow platform modules including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and CMDB.
  • Java Scripting: Client Scripts, Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, and UI Actions.
  • REST/SOAP API Integration: Building and consuming APIs for third-party integrations.
  • Design and developing of ServiceNow Workflows and Service Portal Development.

What you need to succeed:

  • Strong ITSM development experience (e.g., incident, change, problem, catalogue, workflows, scripting).
  • Depth in at least one additional area: Event Management (ITOM), or Scoped application development.
  • Evidence of delivering customisation, scripting, integrations, and technical problem-solving directly, rather than relying on managed suppliers
  • Ability to provide specific technical examples of what they have built and how, rather than only describing high-level processes or roles
