Mid/Senior Golang Developer (Healthcare project)

Nexuzhealth & Cegeka are seeking a skilled Golang Developer to join our dynamic and innovative software team. The candidate will collaborate with a remote Scrum team spread across Europe. This team is composed of analysts, developers (back-end & front-end), product designers, and project leads who work in close cooperation to make an impact in the healthcare domain.

  • Maintain and expand our Go services to create added value for our end users.
  • Share knowledge and be an active part of our continuous improvement effort.
  • Design and create software based on functional analysis to assure a seamless integration with external apps.
  • Write clean and readable code. Test-driven development and refactoring experience.
  • Implement/utilize healthcare sector expertise.

What you need to succeed:

  • Proficiency in Golang
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud is a big plus, but experience in other cloud services are also taken into consideration
  • We believe in hiring the right talent, so experience in other programming languages and a willingness to learn is what we are looking for.
  • Experience with backend systems and application integration, including in-depth knowledge of relational and No-SQL databases.
  • Experience with both REST and gRPC
  • Experience with DevOps tools like Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Gitlab pipelines (or similar ones)
  • Excellent knowledge in object-oriented design and design patterns.
  • Previous experience with front-end JavaScript frameworks like Angular and Bootstrap is a plus
  • Previous experience in the healthcare domain is also a plus
  • A software crafter with strong team and communication skills.
  • Experience working in a Scrum environment and with remote teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think algorithmically.
  • Understanding of application lifecycle management, continuous integration, and relevant tools (Jira, Git, GKE, etc.) is a plus.
  • Motivation, self-reflection, and a proactive mindset.
  • Embracing AI for development or open to learn using AI for development is a must
