Country Director Delivery India

As the Country Director for India and operating out of Chennai, you are accountable for the end-to-end delivery performance, positioning and operational excellence of the Global Delivery Centre (GDC) in your country. You ensure that country operates as a high-performing, scalable, and value-driven delivery center, aligned with Cegeka business lines and global operating model. In addition to your country leadership responsibilities, you will also take on a global capability leadership role for DATA & AI and Applications (APPS), ensuring these capabilities are consistently developed, scaled and delivered across all GDC locations. 

• Operational Oversight: Own and drive end-to-end delivery performance within the country across all services (software development, infrastructure, support). Ensure scalability, quality and efficiency of delivery operations. 
• Quality & Governance: Implement and enforce rigorous delivery frameworks and global processes to ensure "First Time Right" delivery and alignment with internal and external customer expectations.
• Innovation Roadmap: Foster a culture of technical curiosity, ensuring the GDC stays ahead of the curve in AI, Cloud, and Automation.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between the local center and global roles (EVP GDC, VPs business lines), aligning regional capabilities with global business needs.
• Client Success: Partner with global account managers to ensure the GDC provides maximum value to our end clients.  Representing 'Cegeka India': Act as the primary ambassador for the Global Delivery Center in India. You will represent the centers capabilities, culture, and expertise to global customers, positioning India as a high-value, strategic pillar of the total Cegeka solution.
• Growth Strategy: Identify opportunities to expand the centers service catalog and increase its strategic footprint within the organization.
• P&L Management: Full accountability for the countrys budget, ensuring healthy margins and sustainable growth.
• Cost Optimization: Drive initiatives to optimize cost without compromising on quality or employee experience.
• Financial Reporting: Oversee monthly/quarterly financial reviews, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Technology Alignment & Risk Management: Align local IT services capabilities with global tech roadmap -cloud, AI, cybersecurity practices Oversee cybersecurity, data protection, and compliance (GDPR, DPDP Act in India). Promote innovation in service offerings to remain competitive in IT services landscape. 
• Talent Pipeline: Build together with HR a robust employer brand to attract and retain top-tier technical talent in a competitive market.  Culture Carrier: Act as an Ambassador of Cegeka culture and values while respecting and integrating local nuances.
• Compliance: Ensure 100% adherence to local labor laws, tax regulations, and data privacy standards. 

• 15+ years in IT/Professional Services, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role preferably within a GDC environment.
• MBA or Masters in a technical field (Computer Science, Engineering) preferred.
• Ability to lead and grow a diverse workforce of 200+ employees in an international organization. 
• Proven track record of managing complex delivery cycles and modernizing legacy delivery models.
• Deep understanding of unit economics, transfer pricing, and OpEx/CapEx management.
