Lead Data Engineer/ DBT Champion

• As a Lead Snowflake Data Engineer, you are responsible for designing, building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes.
• You will work with various platforms such as Fabric, Snowflake and Databricks, using your expertise to transform data and make it scalable.
• You collaborate with data experts and other stakeholders to understand and translate data needs into technical solutions.
• You monitor and improve data quality and systems performance.
• You create and maintain comprehensive documentation for processes and best practices.
• You will guide, coach and provide technical leadership to Data Engineers.
• You share your expertise and best practices, ensuring that our team can make optimal use of data transformation and modeling.
• Together with your team, you ensure the successful delivery of projects, meeting quality, timing and budget requirements.
• Cegeka is a Databricks, Microsoft and Snowflake Partner. This gives you direct access to their solution architects and the partner academies/ certificates to improve your skills.

• Strong experience with Snowflake.
• Dbt experienceis a big plus.
• You preferably have a relevant bachelor or master degree (Computer Science, Business Engineering, …)
• You have extensive hands-on experience as a Data Engineer and/or Data Architect in the Modern Data Stack.
• You already worked with cloud platforms such as Fabric, Snowflake and Databricks.
• You have advanced knowledge of SQL.
• You have experience with data integration and ETL tools.
• You have strong communication skills and enjoy working in a team.
• You are very customer oriented and you are strong in explaining complex concepts easily to various audiences.
• You have a passion for knowledge sharing and team development. You feel comfortable in a lead position and you know how to motivate and coach your team members.
• You are fluent in English.
