SQL Database Administrator

We are looking for an experienced SQL Database Administrator (SQL DBA) with 5+ years of experience in managing, optimizing, and supporting Microsoft SQL Server environments across on-premises and cloud platforms.

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server (2019/2022/2025) environments.
• Manage high availability and disaster recovery solutions, including Always On Availability Groups, clustering, log shipping, and replication.
• Support cloud and hybrid database environments, including Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance, and Azure Virtual Machines running SQL Server.
• Participate in database migration projects from on-premises to Azure.
• Perform database backup, restore, and recovery activities.
• Monitor database health, performance, and capacity, and proactively resolve issues.
• Implement database security, access controls, and compliance standards.
• Troubleshoot production incidents and optimize database performance.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell and T-SQL.
• Collaborate with application teams to implement database best practices.

• Strong experience in Microsoft SQL Server Administration (2019/2022/2025).
• Experience with Azure SQL services and hybrid database environments.
• Hands-on experience with Always On Availability Groups, clustering, log shipping, and replication.
• Proficiency in T-SQL, PowerShell, performance tuning, and database optimization.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP is an added advantage.
