Cegeka UK are currently seeking a BPSS cleared Lead Portfolio Manager, on behalf of our UK Central Government client. Our client requires support within the management of initiatives across a complex digital hardware portfolio. Sitting inside IR35, would be an initial 6-month commitment with view to extension, and would operate in a hybrid capacity with 3 days per week on-site at either our client’s London or York sites. Responsibilities include:
Lead a matrix team to deliver the market application readiness requirements, taking all suppliers through a development and technical assurance process to deliver products that are fully compliant
Document and maintain the approach to the delivery of market application readiness.
Manage and deliver on client obligations under the MAR contract(s), holding suppliers to account on their obligations to time, cost and quality.
Develop KPIs with suppliers to understand development, testing and assurance progress
Implement and manage the change control process, to cater for scope, requirement, schedule and cost change.
What you need to succeed:
Demonstratable experience managing NEC 4 contracts
Familiarity with managing complex development and delivery programmes in close collaboration with internal and external engineers.
Experience of collaboratively working with large Original Equipment Manufacturers to jointly resolve issues.
Experience within large manufacturing, ideally with a background in rail or IT
