Amfori has expanded its activities over the past decade, which is reflected in the increase in its websites. The lack of a central point of contact meant that communication with Amfori members was becoming increasingly harder and it was difficult to find information quickly. So Amfori decided to modernize its websites.
Cegeka had to make Amfori websites user-friendly again for Amfori members by centralizing and restructuring the information. Cegeka also needed to ensure that the staff of Amfori had more control over the website management, maintenance, content and security updates.
Originally there were more than ten websites and Cegeka reduced these to four websites, centralized on one web platform to give greater control over the website management. The company enhanced Amfori's image with a new, uniform design and finetuned the information architecture. Cegeka also sorted out missing licences, performed security updates and ensured that the new website is in line with current web standards and practices, such as a responsive web design. Finally, Cegeka designed the web platform so that it can be easily modified in the future.
Thanks to the web platform from Cegeka, Amfori members can go straight to a user-friendly and accessible website where all the information is centralized. As a result, the Amfori website is now a lot easier to use, making communication with Amfori members smoother and more efficient than before. The web platform is not only simpler for members to use, but also for the staff of Amfori.
