In this project, Flora Miranda collaborates with various organizations, including Cegeka, to explore how data can be transformed into art by using AI. Her work focuses on the interplay of human creativity and technological advancements, particularly the digital identity of human beings.
For Router, Flora Miranda takes a unique approach to data and AI. She doesn't simply use it to present information in a standard way. "I see AI as a creative partner.” Flora explains. "I provide it with data, but I also allow it to surprise me with unexpected results. My focus isn't on efficiency or speed; it's about finding the poetry within data." For this project, Cegeka serves as a source of inspiration. "They're experts in data," Flora says, "and I wanted to bring the stories behind their data to life."
The goal of this project was to capture the essence of Cegeka in the artwork, their DNA. The final piece reflects the connection between employees, customers, and Cegeka itself. "It was important to express the warmth of Cegeka's company culture," emphasizes Flora.
This collaboration between an IT company and an artist might seem unusual, but both sides see its value.
"We help organizations leverage data for better outcomes," explains Wendy Knaepen of Cegeka. "Flora's work does exactly that - she uses data and AI to achieve creative and impactful results." Flora adds, "Our conversations highlighted Cegeka's vision of using AI for social good, helping people to focus on core tasks and creating a different dimension in people’s lives. For me, it's about pushing the boundaries of creative expression."
Wendy believes such collaborations hold promise for the IT industry. "Working with the creative sector encourages out-of-the-box thinking, fosters new ideas, and helps in innovative decision-making."
