Cegeka launches innovative 5G solution with Microsoft Azure Private MEC in Benelux

This solution combines the strength of Microsoft Azure Private Multi-Access Edge Compute (MEC) with private mobile networks. It enables organizations to connect and manage applications on Azure Private MEC. It provides secure, reliable, high-bandwidth connectivity between applications and data that run close to the end device on the private mobile network while being served by the Microsoft global Azure services.

Valuable solution for Smart Manufacturing, Smart Healthcare and Smart Cities 

The seamless integration with Azure Arc further extends the capabilities of Private MEC, providing enterprises with a unified and simplified way to manage their applications across a distributed cloud environment. “The solution is available to customers across multiple industries, offering them a unique combination of efficiency, agility and connectivity. For this solution, Cegeka partners with its telecom specialist Citymesh, a 5G and mobile network innovator. They combine Cegeka's expertise in security, public cloud, and application management with Citymesh's advanced mobile network capabilities. “This partnership allows us to bring together the best of both worlds: IT and connectivity. This creates new possibilities for businesses to use 5G and edge computing across different cloud platforms,” emphasizes Gaetan Willems. 

This managed service introduces a new way to connect and manage applications on the Microsoft Azure Private MEC device.
