On February 18, 2021 our colleagues, Radu Lacatus & Viorel Spinu, spoke at Talks #144 organized by Softbinator Foundation, a non-profit organization that, through interaction, interest, and passion, raises performance standards throughout Romania's IT community.
Radu talked about sociable unit tests, another brick in the testing pyramid that could help you in a fast-paced startup environment. This approach could enable:
Continuous refactoring;
Finding boundaries of your domains;
Better conceptualization of functionality.
Viorel talked about how he developed a computer vision-based real-time advisor for Pokemon Go battles. A Python backend, a Mustache frontend, and a Google Firebase Android application connected over WebSockets, giving you the best hints during a Pokemon Go battle.
