Our approach to attracting and training talent

At Switchfully, the 'Cegeka school', we focus on the labour market, conducting campaigns to attract young talents who want to become software developers. Selected candidates receive intensive training so they can be deployed immediately afterwards.

Step by step

Campaign
 
Cegeka runs several campaigns throughout the year to find motivated individuals who are eager to pursue a career in software development. This results in a large, high-quality influx of potential candidates. We focus on mature, professional and analytical profiles that also have the necessary soft skills. We teach them any missing technical skills.

Selection
 
We conduct a thorough screening followed by a selection procedure, which gives us a group of highly motivated candidates with the right qualities. We set up a Meet & Hire interview with you. You can then decide to offer the candidate a job. If the candidate accepts your offer, he or she will participate in the training programme.

Training
 
During a four-month period of intensive training, participants attend daily classes to become full-stack Junior Software Developers. Our teachers are real craftspeople with active professional experience. The training approach is focused on practical skills, and consists of self-made material in Java (8+) or .NET Core combined with TypeScript & Angular.

Coaching
 
During training the participants are coached and supported on an ongoing basis. Self-assessment sessions take place at fixed times during the programme. The successful integration of participants into their future teams is also very important to us. Individual follow-up meetings are organized after the training, to monitor and improve progress.

We have over 30 years of experience in developing software for our customers. We use the agile software development methodology to guarantee that projects are delivered within the desired scope, budget and timing. We also teach these techniques to our candidates, so they get to know all the ins and outs of the trade.
