European IT company Cegeka confirms it is taking over a number of contracts of IT company Getronics Belgium following a court ruling.
‘We made an offer on part of Getronics Belgium’s customer portfolio, and we are pleased to confirm this was granted to us after a court ruling,’ Stijn Bijnens, CEO of Cegeka, says. ‘It involves ten contracts for IT activities that are closely connected to Cegeka’s portfolio. Specifically, it involves managing IT infrastructure and digital workplaces. Thanks to this acquisition, business continuity is guaranteed for the customers involved,’ Stijn concludes.
In addition to the contracts, some thirty employees of Getronics Belgium will also be joining the company. Cegeka has not disclosed any financial details about the customer portfolio it will acquire from Getronics Belgium.
