Implementation based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations
IT service provider Cegeka is implementing a new ERP system based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations for fruit and vegetable supplier Nature’s Pride. The new ERP system will support Nature’s Pride’s growth ambitions in the coming years. Cegeka is providing a comprehensive implementation that will include the purchasing, sales, production, warehousing and finance departments. Implementation started in December 2018 and is expected to be completed by Q2 2020.
Part of the Norwegian purchasing group Bama Gruppen, Nature’s Pride distributes 230 types of fruit and vegetables from 59 countries, ranging from ready-to-eat and exotic foods to delicious berries and off-season products. The Maasdijk-based company is expected to realize a turnover of more than €500 million in 2019 and wants to achieve further growth in the coming years.

Nature’s Pride first selected the ERP solution. Then they chose Cegeka, thanks to the company’s in-depth experience with IT systems for the fresh produce market. Cegeka defined best practices for the potato, fruit and vegetable (AGF) industry, so it doesn’t have to start from scratch for Nature’s Pride’s ERP system. Cegeka will also deliver a few custom components, for example for consignment management (‘batch evaluation’), which is a very important task in the fresh produce market.
