Next step towards more CSR: ISO 14001 certification

In the fall of 2020 Cegeka announced to go more Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). We are proud to release Cegeka took another step in becoming more CSR by achieving the ISO 14001 certification of its Environmental Management System.

During this journey of certification, Cegeka has, amongst others:

  • Performed an environmental impact assessment, measuring its power consumption, water consumption, carbon emissions and waste disposal;
  • Integrated “sustainability” into its vision, values and policies;
  • Optimized its mobility policy including electrical vehicles;
  • Shifted to exclusively procure green energy, starting on January 1, 2022.

This certification is just a starting point in our continuous ambition to reduce our environmental footprint.
