NSI IT Software & Services (NSI) and Groupe OPEN SAS (OPEN) are pleased to announce that NSI has acquired 100% of the company shares of Groupe OPEN Belgium, a Belgian subsidiary of OPEN. Groupe OPEN Belgium is based in Liège and Brussels and employs over 90 people. It is a long-standing player in IT services in the Wallonia-Brussels region. The name of the company will now be changed to NSI-OPEN.
Manuel Pallage, Director General of NSI: ‘We are particularly delighted with the conclusion of this transaction as it reinforces the position of NSI as a major player in French-speaking Belgium. This enables NSI to reinforce its presence with major accounts in the private sector and federal public sector and broaden its offering of value-added services. We are happy to be able to count on the talent of Groupe OPEN Belgium’s staff members to achieve this. NSI, which will complete a 2017 record in terms of financial progression, now has 550 staff and will probably announce a second acquisition before the end of December.’
According to Guy Mamou-Mani, Co-President of OPEN, ‘We are convinced that linking Groupe OPEN Belgium to NSI will enable Groupe OPEN Belgium’s staff and clients to benefit from the critical mass required for its development.’
