About Deloitte’s 2021 Technology Fast50
The Technology Fast50 competition is an annual selection of the 50 fastest growing and innovative technology companies headquartered and founded in Belgium. Nexuzhealth is the Flemish market leader in the management of electronic patient files (EHR). Founded in 2016 by UZ Leuven and Cegeka, it builds on 25 years of developing the Clinical Workstation (KWS) within UZ Leuven. Nexuzhealth combines the years of experience of both organizations in ICT and healthcare with the passion of a startup.
By offering the collaboration between different hospitals and the patient in a transparent and unambiguous way, nexuzhealth increases the quality of care.
Today, 37 Flemish hospitals and care institutions already work with KWS, which accounts for about half of the Flemish hospital beds. Patients also find their way to mynexuzhealth.be, the platform where every patient of an affiliated healthcare institution can consult his/her file for free. About 1 million patients already use the record in their contacts with their healthcare team, either via computer or smartphone.
