Jan Willem, you took on the role of Managing Director in January, but you weren’t exactly new to the company. You’d been the Commercial Director since 2023.
Jan Willem Voorink (JWV): That’s right. It was a real honor to step into Annelore’s shoes at the start of 2025 and be able to build on the solid foundation she laid. She had already pivoted the organization toward sharper customer focus — raising satisfaction, aligning operations across business lines, and ensuring the right people were in the right roles. That shift created the momentum we’re now accelerating.
In 2024, we onboarded several major clients, achieved 4.5% growth despite strong economic headwinds, and raised customer satisfaction by 10%.
That groundwork clearly paid off.

We renewed our Top Employer certification, which is more than a badge — it reflects how we’re able to attract and retain talent. And in March 2025, the Whitelane report confirmed our direction: we’re now in the top three for workplace services, and our security offering is recognized among the industry’s best.
Client satisfaction comes up a lot. How do you make it concrete?
JWV: At Cegeka, client satisfaction isn’t a checkbox — it’s a mindset. We never get complacent. We’re always asking: how can we be more relevant, more responsive, more aligned with our clients’ business needs? It’s not just about technical capability; it’s about understanding how technology impacts and enables the clients’ business. It also means really understanding their context: more complexity, a tsunami of regulations to comply with, the whole debate about digital sovereignty, the need to streamline operations, the imperative to ‘do something with AI’. That’s why we take a true end-to-end approach. We’re deliberately connecting all our dots — digital platforms, applications, security, data, AI — into a cohesive offering. It’s one value chain, not separate parts.
And you do that ‘close to the customer’.
JWV: That’s what shaping digital together means to us. It’s not a marketing line — it reflects how we actually work. We’re not a supplier, we’re a partner, and we’re in it for the long haul. This mindset keeps us proactive, on our toes. We’re always thinking ahead, anticipating
what comes next. We don’t chase perfection, we pursue progress.
And we care deeply. Sometimes that means going beyond the formal scope, because it’s the right thing to do. Like during the CrowdStrike incident: we mobilized instantly, deploying teams at speed to fix problems we didn’t create. Or when we help clients through complex audits. That’s how real partnerships are built.

Who exactly are you working for?
JWV: Our focus is on the corporate segment: upper midmarket and larger organizations. Within that, we offer flexibility. Some clients want to stay fully in control and bring us in for specialist expertise. That works. Others want a partner at the strategy table, helping shape the roadmap. That works too. What sets us apart from many competitors is our pragmatism. We’re outcome-driven, not presentation-driven. We don’t just advise, we deliver. We’re the sensible alternative that gets things done.
What’s the focus for the next year?
JWV: Growth — with purpose. We’re deeply embedded in finance and insurance, sectors where innovation and regulation go hand in hand. In manufacturing, we’re helping clients stay competitive in a tough global landscape shaped by inflation and trade wars. And in the public sector, we’re strengthening our position. It’s a space full of ambition but constrained by budget. We know how to make smart innovation happen under those conditions. Beyond that, we’re expanding steadily across other sectors. But our focus remains consistent: to be the partner that drives real, measurable progress.
