Laying the Operational Foundation for Global Pharma Growth – Highlights from NLS Days 2025

At this year’s Nordic Life Science Days, we had the opportunity to host a workshop that brought together industry leaders, technology experts, and pharma innovators to explore how operational excellence and AI are shaping the future of global growth in Pharma and Life Sciences. 

The session featured insights from Dominique De Vos, Global Solution Manager at Cegeka, and Gaurav Roy, Head of Product | GPM | CPO | Analytics, AI and Modern ERP at Microsoft, alongside a panel discussion with Mikkel Lund, Global Director IT at Ascendis Pharma in Denmark. 

From startup to global scale: Nyxoah’s journey 

Dominique walked us through the transformation of our customer, Nyxoah, a MedTech company developing a breakthrough treatment for Obstructive Sleep Apnea. With operations in Belgium, Israel, Australia, and the US, as well as a commercial presence in seven countries, Nyxoah faced the challenge of scaling from an R&D-focused startup to a global commercial organization.

Their growth demanded more than ambition; it required a solid operational foundation. Cegeka partnered with Nyxoah to implement a GxP-compliant ERP solution built on Microsoft Dynamics 365, tailored for the Pharma and Life Sciences industry. This enabled:

From supplier communication agents that respond to disruptions overnight, to quality impact recall agents that trace affected batches and suggest mitigation steps, the potential is real and already in motion.
