System Administrator

Are you ready to embark on an exciting journey with CTG IT Solutions? We are currently looking for a System Administrator to join our team working within a European Institution.

As part of the Digital Workplace environment, you will join a Workstation Configuration Administration back-office team and contribute to the administration, deployment and support of Windows workplace solutions.

Your tasks

 As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for: 

• Managing software deployment using Microsoft SCCM and troubleshooting deployment-related issues.
• Performing advanced troubleshooting of Windows operating systems and workplace applications.
• Analysing and resolving complex technical issues using logs, Windows Event Viewer and second-line support feedback.
• Handling advanced incidents escalated by the second-level support team.
• Working with users to investigate and resolve complex workstation and software issues.
• Collaborating with development teams on software validation, testing and problem resolution.
• Supporting the administration and configuration of the Windows workstation environment.
• Contributing to the stability and continuous improvement of the Digital Workplace environment.

Your profile

• Strong experience in Windows environments.
• Good knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft SCCM, including software deployment and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Group Policies (GPO).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Teams.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with log analysis and Windows Event Viewer.
• Good understanding of networking concepts.
• Ability to investigate and resolve complex technical incidents.
• Ability to work effectively with support teams, system administrators and development teams.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Customer and service-oriented mindset.

Nice to have:

• ITIL Foundation certification.
• Microsoft certifications such as MCSA.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager.
• Knowledge of PowerShell.
• Experience with mobile devices (iOS / Android).
• Previous experience working within European Institutions or international environments.
