IT Support Specialist for the European Institutions
Are you ready to embark on an exciting journey with CTG IT Solutions? We are seeking a dynamic IT Support Specialist to join our team, working alongside a prestigious European Institution based in Luxembourg.
Your tasks
As an IT Support Specialist, you will take on a multifaceted role encompassing service desk agent, incident analyst, problem solver, and more. Your mission:
- To provide and support technical assistance related to the computers systems provided by the EP and standard applications (Microsoft, Adobe and others)
- Create users and manage their rights
- To handle the call centre and generic mailbox of the Helpdesk, through which, assistance and support is provided for the applications of DG Pers and their interfaces (Streamline, People, Erapnot, Streamline-Assmal, EU-Login, Codict, Arpege, Gap)
- To permanently ensure the continuity of an optimal use, not only of the client supported applications but all other products or systems which are related
- Support end users on the usage of IT applications under the responsibility of DG Personnel IT unit (Streamline, Erapnot, People, MS Access solutions)
- To actively and proactively contribute to reduce the amount of incidents related to the computer systems, especially client applications supported by the team, and their impact on the business
- To help the users make the best use of the client supported applications by high standard quality training
- To provide technical assistance to the end users by improving the use of the programs and computers systems provided by the client
- Help end users with the usage and troubleshooting of standard applications
- Help end users with the usage of Confluence and SharePoint
- Update the knowledge base
- Update or prepare user documentation
- Participate to functional tests and testing applications before delivering new versions to users
- To guarantee high standard of customer satisfaction
- Provide 2nd level support in identifying and solving incidents and problems
- Conduct technical evaluation of user´s needs
- Resolve application related issues that affect users
- Provide expert support on the specific applications
- Escalate to 3rd line support
Your profile
- You have minimum 3 years of IT experience
- You have a fluent level in English and French (another European language is a plus)
- You have previous experience in a similar position and are familiar with Windows/Linux and MS Office
- You hold a good knowledge of Wiki, collaborative sites, and social networks
- You have good IT skills
- You have the ability to support users of Mobile devices
- You are recognized for your excellent communication skills, your customer orientation, and your diplomacy
