Application Modernization as the key to a future-proof social security

Belgian governments are investing heavily in the digitalization of social security, and the arrival of eGov 3.0 promises a central data layer to simplify data exchange. At the European level, the Digital Decade objectives, Interoperable Europe Act, EESSI (Electronic Exchange of Social Security Information), and the new EHDS (European Health Data Space) guidelines are accelerating the need for digital transformation. To meet these obligations and expectations, the IT landscapes within social security must undergo thorough modernization.
