Cegeka wins ESG Award and Best AI Project Award at the Channel Awards 2026

At the Channel Awards 2026, Cegeka received two awards for projects within the Flemish government: the ESG Award for the Flemish Enforcement Platform (VHP) and the Best AI Project Award for the VTS Agentic AI project.

ESG Award: Flemish Enforcement Platform

The Flemish Enforcement Platform is a central, decree-agnostic platform for administrative enforcement in Flanders. It centralizes and digitizes enforcement cases, secures documents with legal evidentiary value, and enables safe, structured information flows between all enforcement actors. Through trusted digital channels, citizens and businesses gain transparent access to their cases, strengthening clarity, legal certainty, and trust in public services. The platform is gradually evolving into a structural digital backbone for administrative enforcement in Flanders. 

Best AI Project: VTS Agentic AI

The VTS (Verstrengd Toezicht Subsidies) Agentic AI project modernizes inspection and subsidy oversight by deploying AI agents as digital colleagues for inspectors. These agents support analysis, reporting, anomaly detection, and follow-up, while human inspectors always remain fully responsible. The result is a significant reduction in administrative burden, faster and more accurate fraud detection, and a substantial improvement in subsidy management, delivering clear societal value.
