Agentic AI is gaining momentum. Digital coworkers that perform tasks independently, prepare cases, and trigger actions directly inside business applications are steadily finding their way into organizations around the world. With the launch of its own Quality Impact Recall Agent, Cegeka positions itself among the companies not just following this evolution, but putting it into practice.
Cegeka, with guidance from Microsoft, developed the Cegeka Quality Impact Recall Agent, which monitors quality issues, orchestrates traceability procedures in Dynamics 365, and streamlines customer outreach, while helping ensure that users remain fully in control of every action and decision throughout the process.
“With this solution, we’re showing that agentic AI can already deliver real, tangible impact on critical business processes today,” says Stijn Geeroms, Global VP Business Solutions at Cegeka.
Agentic AI as a Turning Point
Cegeka sees the rise of agentic AI as a major turning point. Where traditional AI focuses on analysis and recommendations, an AI agent can autonomously carry out actions inside business software – boosting speed, consistency, and reducing manual workload.
This is particularly impactful in high-pressure scenarios like product recalls. By automating labor-intensive tasks and structuring information instantly, employees regain the time and focus needed for their core responsibilities.
“This is only the beginning,” says Stijn Geeroms, Global VP Business Solutions at Cegeka. “In the coming years, companies will be able to rely on a growing set of specialized AI agents that accelerate, support, and safeguard business operations.”
A Critical Business Challenge
Product recalls are high-pressure, high-risk events, and manual processes slow teams down, create inconsistencies, and introduce avoidable errors. This AI agent automates impact assessment and coordinates key recall steps, helping teams shorten decision time, reduce variability, and ensure every stakeholder works from the same information, protecting business continuity and customer trust.
AI That Actually Works Inside the ERP System
This deep integration is made possible by Microsoft’s AI-first strategy, unlocking this technology through Microsoft Copilot Studio, a low-code platform to create and customize enterprise-grade intelligent solutions.
For businesses, this means AI no longer sits beside core systems; it becomes part of them. The Cegeka Quality Impact Recall Agent is one of the first examples of this new generation of integrated solutions. The agent is powered by Microsoft Copilot Studio leveraging the Dynamics 365 ERP Model Context Protocol (MCP) server.
This technology gives AI agents access to the same tools a human user has, enabling it to interact with forms to execute existing business logic, perform data operations to interact with application data and invoke actions in the system, while respecting security privileges.
Built on Microsoft Technology
Microsoft laid the groundwork with its own agents in Dynamics 365, including solutions for supplier communication, account reconciliation, and expenses. These first-party agents demonstrate how agentic AI works in real-world scenarios and provide a framework partners can build on.
Cegeka’s Quality Impact Recall Agent is one of the first third-party agents to apply this technology to a specific business process. It shows how organizations can develop agents tailored to their own context and challenges.
“Cegeka is among the first European partners to use our MCP technology for a fully integrated AI agent inside Dynamics 365,” says Sameer Verma, VP, Chief Product Officer, D365 AI ERP at Microsoft. “Their Quality Impact Recall Agent is a great example of how partners can use agentic AI to accelerate and simplify complex business processes.”
The Cegeka Quality Impact Recall Agent is now available on AppSource via Microsoft Marketplace.
