Business Analyst / Teamlead - EngineeringSTUDIO

Within EngineeringSTUDIO at Cegeka, we are looking for an experienced Business Analyst / Team Lead to join one of our teams working for our largest customer. As a trusted link between the customer and the development team, you will analyze complex business needs, translate them into feasible software requirements, and safeguard the functional quality of the delivered solutions. In addition, you will take ownership of your own projects, proactively managing scope, planning, and risks while ensuring transparent communication with all stakeholders. We are looking for a seasoned analyst with a strong foundation in software analysis who also has experience leading, coaching, and supporting a team.

• You engage with stakeholders, map business processes, and translate business needs into clear requirements and user stories.
• You prepare and facilitate refinement sessions, manage the backlog, and challenge the customer when scope or priorities change.
• You closely monitor the development and testing of functionalities and lead customer demos and review sessions.
• You take ownership of project delivery, managing scope, budget, planning, and risks while proactively reporting to both internal and external stakeholders.
• You facilitate the team's Agile way of working through sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• You help developers remove impediments and support them in continuously improving engineering practices.
• You take on a leadership role, coaching team members and conducting one-on-one meetings and performance evaluations.
• You work on average two days per week from our office at the Corda Campus in Hasselt, combined with remote work. Occasional travel to the customer's headquarters in Maastricht is expected.

• You have approximately 10 years of experience as a Functional Analyst or Business Analyst within a custom software development environment.
• You possess strong analytical skills and can quickly bring structure to complex challenges.
• You have proven experience managing projects end-to-end, including scope management, planning, risk management, and stakeholder management.
• You have experience leading and coaching a team.
• You are a strong communicator and can constructively challenge stakeholders when needed.
• You have hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and know how to enable a development team to perform effectively.
• You are able to work independently, maintain oversight in a changing environment, and take ownership of your responsibilities.
• You are fluent in both Dutch and English, as collaboration takes place with colleagues in Belgium, the Netherlands, Greece, and Romania.
