Functional Analyst - Digital Business

Cegeka continues to grow! Within the Digital Business division, we are following this trend and are therefore looking for an experienced Functional Analyst.

• You contribute to projects related to ordering & allocation for an industrial client.
• You are part of a multidisciplinary DevOps team and can be deployed across different areas (functional analysis, testing) to help achieve the sprint goals. As a customer proxy, you act as the bridge between the client/Business Analyst and the team, translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• You have experience in conducting analyses, testing, and working with Agile methodologies.
• Together with the BA, you manage the backlog and prepare refinement sessions. From your role, you ensure that the functionalities you describe are implemented correctly.
• You are part of a community where continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and personal growth are key.
• You prepare refinement sessions for upcoming stories together with the business stakeholder, architect, and (lead) developer, and you facilitate these sessions to arrive at a detailed solution within the defined framework. The outcome of these sessions is documented in JIRA/Confluence.
• You design and describe solutions within the scope of the high-level architecture. You analyze in detail the impact of functional changes on the existing application (data model, logic, etc.), based on documentation and input from other team members (developers, architect, BA).
• You validate solutions with various stakeholders and take into account the end-to-end impact on existing processes.
• You test the delivered solution and contribute to safeguarding product quality.
• You work two days per week on-site at the client in Brussels. The rest of the week, you can work from home, combined with working from one of our Cegeka offices.
• You are fluent in English (knowledge of Dutch is a plus).

• You have at least 4 years of experience as a Functional Analyst and experience with UML, user stories, and use cases.
• You are comfortable working with data models and API definitions. Knowledge of API management is essential.

• You communicate diplomatically and effectively with various stakeholders.
