Client Director | Belgium | Public Services – Public Administration and Citizen Services

Are you an experienced client leader who combines public-sector insight with strategic vision and strong commercial ownership? As Client Director at Cegeka, you will lead a strategically significant and complex public-sector client portfolio, with an initial focus on the Belgian federal government. You will build long-term executive partnerships, shape the sector’s growth agenda and take overall, high-level P&L responsibility for the portfolio. You will connect client ambitions with Cegeka’s capabilities across business lines, service lines, countries and delivery organizations. With a high level of autonomy, you will influence strategic choices, investments and priorities that reach beyond individual accounts.

• Define and govern the sector vision and growth strategy for a strategically significant and complex public-sector client portfolio, initially focused on the Belgian federal government. Translate your understanding of the sector and its client organizations into clear strategic priorities.
• Take ownership of the portfolio P&L, including revenue, profitability, retention, pipeline, risk and investment decisions.
• Build and strengthen trusted relationships with public-sector executives, administrators-general and senior decision-makers, including engagement with ministerial cabinets.
• Connect the strategic priorities of clients with Cegeka’s enterprise-wide services, expertise and capabilities.
• Drive business development and engage the sales team around the sector strategy, turning strategic priorities into commercial opportunities.
• Sponsor strategic account plans, transformation roadmaps and major commercial opportunities.
• Align senior stakeholders across business lines, service lines, countries and delivery organizations around shared client outcomes.
• Shape negotiation strategies and intervene in high-impact commercial, contractual or relationship decisions.
• Anticipate market and client developments and translate them into portfolio-level strategic priorities and growth opportunities.
• Strengthen Cegeka’s client management community through functional and hierarchical leadership, coaching, talent development and thought leadership.
• Represent Cegeka in relevant executive forums and contribute to our positioning in priority markets.

• You have at least 15 years of relevant professional experience, including substantial experience in strategic client management, enterprise sales or commercial leadership.
• You have a proven track record in managing complex, strategically important client portfolios, combining business development with P&L responsibility, and experience leading or developing senior client management professionals.
• You bring deep public-sector knowledge and an established network, particularly within the Belgian federal government. You understand how public-sector organizations operate, how their stakeholders and decision-making structures fit together, and how to translate that insight into a credible sector vision. Sector expertise and relationships matter more than deep technical specialization; familiarity with IT services or digital transformation remains valuable.
• You are experienced in taking commercial ownership, including revenue, profitability, forecasting, investment and risk management.
• You can build credible relationships at public-sector executive and administrator-general level, influence senior decision-makers and engage confidently with ministerial cabinets.
• You have experience sponsoring complex transformation programs and high-value commercial pursuits.
• You can align stakeholders across different teams, business units, service lines and countries.
• You communicate fluently in Dutch or French, and English and are able to make well-considered decisions and remain effective in complex stakeholder environments.
• You are based in Belgium and are comfortable working in a hybrid environment, including regular interaction at Cegeka offices and client locations.
