Make a strategic impact with our clients in the Consumer & Retail industry.  Are you an experienced commercial leader who builds lasting relationships at executive level? As a Client Executive for Consumer & Retail at Cegeka, you take strategic and commercial ownership of a portfolio of clients operating within the consumer and retail sector.  You understand the dynamics and challenges these organisations face and know how to translate their business, technology and transformation priorities into commercial opportunities. By bringing together the right Cegeka capabilities, you help our Consumer & Retail clients move forward while driving sustainable growth and strengthening our position within the industry.  With broad autonomy and a strong internal network, you build long-term client relationships, identify new opportunities and develop accounts strategically.  The position is available for both payroll employees and freelancers and can be based anywhere in Belgium. 

  • Shape and lead multi-year account strategies for clients active within the Consumer & Retail industry.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior executives and key decision-makers, engaging them on their business, technology and transformation priorities.
  • Identify and develop new commercial opportunities within existing and potential Consumer & Retail accounts, turning client challenges into opportunities for sustainable growth.
  • Translate client insights, market developments, competitive intelligence, strategic data and financial information into differentiated growth propositions.
  • Bring together Cegeka’s business lines, service lines, delivery teams and expert communities to create integrated solutions and measurable value for Consumer & Retail clients.
  • Lead strategic opportunities, executive presentations and high-value commercial negotiations.
  • Monitor and manage account performance, pipeline, profitability, retention, investments and strategic risks.
  • Anticipate developments within the Consumer & Retail market and client environment, translating them into proactive commercial choices and recommendations.
  • Work closely with Client Officers and fellow Client Executives, sharing effective account practices, exchanging insights and supporting each other to achieve shared commercial goals 

What you need to succeed:

  • You have at least 10 years of relevant experience in strategic account management, complex solution sales, business development or client leadership.
  • You have a strong track record in managing and growing complex client relationships with significant commercial value.
  • You bring commercial experience with clients operating in the Consumer & Retail industry and understand the business context and challenges within this market.
  • You can build credibility and trusted-advisor relationships with C-level executives and other senior decision-makers.
  • You have experience developing long-term account strategies and converting them into concrete commercial priorities and actions.
  • You can identify and develop new business opportunities and are comfortable taking ownership of the full commercial relationship with strategic accounts.
  • You can lead complex sales processes, commercial negotiations and multidisciplinary stakeholder groups.
  • You understand revenue, margin, pipeline, forecasting and the financial drivers behind strategic account decisions.
  • Experience in digital transformation, technology services or complex B2B solutions is an advantage.
  • Experience coaching colleagues or providing functional leadership will further support your success in this role.
  • You communicate fluently in Dutch and English. French is a plus!
  • You are based in Belgium and are comfortable combining work at a Cegeka office, client locations and from home.
