Do you have a passion for enterprise architecture, digital transformation, and designing future-proof IT landscapes? As a Domain Architect Core Insurance & Finance for one of our clients within Digital Business, you will play a key role in translating business objectives into scalable, secure, and sustainable solutions. You will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and delivery teams to define and realize the architectural vision within a complex insurance and financial environment.

  • You define and own the architecture vision and roadmap for the Core Insurance & Finance domain
  • You translate business needs into future-proof application, data, and integration architectures
  • You drive modernization and transformation initiatives within the insurance and financial landscape
  • You ensure the consistent application of architecture principles, standards, and governance
  • You support delivery teams with architectural and technical guidance
  • You safeguard the quality, security, compliance, scalability, and maintainability of solutions
  • You facilitate architectural decision-making and align with stakeholders across multiple domains 
  • You conduct architecture reviews and support feasibility studies and impact assessments
  • You help manage technical debt and promote a culture of continuous improvement
  • You ensure clear architectural documentation and actively contribute to knowledge sharing across the organization.

What you need to succeed:

  • You have at least 10 years of experience in application architecture, solution architecture, or a similar technical leadership role
  • You have experience working in complex enterprise environments; experience within the insurance or financial sector is a strong asset
  • You have a solid understanding of enterprise and domain architecture principles and architectural modeling methodologies (e.g., ArchiMate)
  • You have experience with microservices, event-driven architectures, API-first design, and integration patterns
  • You have strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud environments
  • You have experience with application development and integration technologies such as Java, C#, TypeScript, REST, and SOAP
  • You have knowledge of messaging and data platforms such as Kafka, Azure Service Bus, Oracle, and PostgreSQL
  • You are familiar with security and identity concepts such as OAuth, OpenID Connect, and secure coding practices
  • You possess strong communication skills and have experience managing stakeholders at various levels of the organization 
  • You are strategic, analytical, and decisive, with the ability to successfully bridge business and technology 
  • You work two days per week onsite at the customer's office in Brussels South, combined with remote working. Occasionally, you will be expected to work from one of Cegeka's offices.
