Do you want to help shape how organizations develop their technology, processes and investments at executive level? As Enterprise Architect, you lead Cegeka’s Enterprise Architecture practice as a whole connecting business ambitions with technology execution. You create a coherent architecture vision across applications, data, infrastructure, integration and security. You work in complex client environments and help organizations modernize, innovate, and simplify their IT landscapes. Through clear roadmaps, principles and architecture governance, you ensure that decisions remain scalable, secure, resilient, and sustainable. The position is open to both payroll employees and freelancers. You work in a hybrid model from a Cegeka office in Europe, at client sites and from home.

• Shape Cegeka’s Enterprise Architecture practice by defining how the discipline is developed, positioned and applied across the organization.
• Set direction, frameworks, principles, standards and boundaries for how Enterprise Architects work within Cegeka.
• Support the wider Enterprise Architecture community as an overarching expert and sparring partner for Industry and Core/Service Line Enterprise Architects.
• Help shape Cegeka’s organization and portfolio, influencing how its capabilities and offerings are brought to market.
• Collaborate within a target structure of two Lead Enterprise Architects, approximately 25 Industry Enterprise Architects and two Core/Service Line Enterprise Architects.
• Translate clients’ business strategies and sector-specific needs into an enterprise-wide architecture vision, target architecture and multi-year roadmap. 
• Design coherent architecture blueprints and guardrails for applications, data, infrastructure, integration, cloud and security. 
• Map business capabilities, value streams, operating models and maturity to identify gaps, duplication and transformation priorities. 
• Align IT projects and investments so that complexity, fragmentation and technical debt decrease, and initiatives contribute to the same strategic direction. 
• Define and safeguard architecture principles, standards and governance. Assess solution designs, steer key decisions and manage justified exceptions. 
• Advise executive and senior stakeholders on make-or-buy decisions, strategic vendors, cloud platforms, data platforms, APIs and cloud-native solutions. 
• Assure architecture quality throughout the investment and delivery lifecycle, from business case and procurement to implementation, transition and benefits of realization. 
• Provide functional leadership and coaching to Solution, Application, Data, Security and Technical Architects, while strengthening the architecture community.

• You have 15+ years of experience in enterprise architecture and technology leadership, with demonstrable responsibility for strategy, target architectures, transformation roadmaps, and portfolio governance.
• You are proficient in enterprise architecture methods and frameworks such as TOGAF or an equivalent framework.
• You have broad knowledge of business, information, application, integration, platform, infrastructure, cloud, security, and resilience architecture.
• You have experience with architecture modelling, repositories, technology lifecycle management and modern architectures, including APIs, event-driven and cloud-native solutions, data platforms, and AI ecosystems.
• You influence confidently at C-level and bring diverse business and technology stakeholders together around complex decisions and long-term objectives.
• You can assess technology choices in terms of business value, integration, compliance, scalability, resilience, security, sustainability, and cost efficiency.
• You have experience in large, federated, regulated or otherwise complex organizations and can demonstrate measurable architecture outcomes.
• You communicate fluently in Dutch or English and make complex topics understandable to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• In-depth expertise in the banking, manufacturing or public sector, together with experience in regulation, sustainability and emerging technologies, will strengthen your profile.
