Industry Consultant Insurance | Financial Services

Turn insurance expertise into practical solutions and business outcomes for financial services clients across Europe. As Industry Consultant Insurance within Financial Services, you combine insurance expertise with consulting expertise, commercial flair and strong storytelling. You advise clients and translate sector developments and business challenges into opportunities, requirements and initial solution concepts. Working with Industry leadership, Principal Industry Leads, client teams, architects, Solution Sales, Presales, Service Lines and product teams, you connect insurers’ needs with Cegeka’s capabilities. Your focus includes claims transformation, underwriting, policy administration, customer experience, regulatory change, and data and AI. The role is open to payroll employees and freelancers based in Belgium, the Netherlands or Luxembourg, with travel to clients and cross-border collaboration. 

• Guide insurance clients through workshops and advisory sessions, helping them define transformation priorities and translate business challenges into actionable initiatives.
• Analyse insurance market developments and client challenges, identifying opportunities in areas such as claims, underwriting, distribution, fraud prevention and regulation.
• Translate client insights into requirements, use cases and initial solution concepts with internal teams, drawing on relevant products, platforms and partner capabilities.
• Support client teams with proposals, presales and strategic conversations, positioning insurance propositions and engaging senior stakeholders as a credible industry expert.
• Shape Cegeka’s Insurance transformation agenda through relevant vertical plays, thought leadership and campaign content.
• Collaborate across countries and Service Lines, bringing business, architecture, product and technology experts together to develop feasible solutions for strategic initiatives.
• Monitor insurance market evolution and share business insights and practical recommendations with the Industry team.
• Capture and reuse client results, effective approaches and Cegeka intellectual property, turning successful local initiatives into repeatable European insurance propositions.

• You hold a master’s degree.
• You have relevant experience in industry consulting, business consulting, business analysis, architecture or advisory roles, with strong insurance experience.
• You combine insurance domain expertise with an affinity for technology, data and AI. A technical background is not required.
• You understand how insurers operate, particularly claims management, and the customer, regulatory and digital transformation challenges they face. Knowledge of underwriting, policy administration or distribution is an advantage.
• You facilitate tailored workshops and turn complex client challenges into clear recommendations, requirements and solution concepts.
• You communicate credibly with senior stakeholders and bring strong storytelling skills to presentations, proposals and presales content.
• You work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, combining consulting judgement with commercial insight in an advisory role rather than a traditional sales position.
• You continuously develop your market, client and sector knowledge and make your expertise reusable for colleagues.
• You communicate fluently in English. Additional European languages are an advantage.
• You are based in Belgium, the Netherlands or Luxembourg and are comfortable working in a hybrid environment, including regular interaction at Cegeka offices and client locations.
