Industry Consultant Regulation | Financial Services

Turn regulatory insight into practical solutions and business outcomes for financial services clients across Europe. Do you want to help shape how Cegeka supports financial institutions in navigating an increasingly complex regulatory landscape? As Industry Consultant Financial Services Regulation, you combine strong knowledge of the financial services industry with deep insight into regulatory requirements, consulting skills, commercial flair and strong storytelling. You advise clients, bring valuable business insights to executive conversations and translate regulatory developments and operational challenges into opportunities, requirements and initial solution concepts. Working with Industry leadership, Principal Industry Leads, client teams, architects, Solution Sales, Presales, Service Lines and product teams, you connect financial institutions’ regulatory and business needs with Cegeka’s capabilities. Your focus includes DORA, NIS2, operational resilience, cybersecurity, third-party risk management, data governance, compliance and regulatory reporting. You contribute to workshops, proposals and presentations, keeping business outcomes central and capturing reusable client insight. The role is open to payroll employees and freelancers based in Belgium, the Netherlands or Luxembourg, with travel to clients and cross-border collaboration.

• Guide financial services clients through workshops and advisory sessions, translating regulatory requirements into concrete business priorities.
• Analyse financial sector developments and turn regulatory, risk and compliance challenges into opportunities for Cegeka and its clients.
• Translate regulatory requirements and client insights into practical use cases and propositions for financial institutions, together with our internal teams.
• Support client teams with proposals, presales and strategic conversations, positioning our propositions through your sector expertise. Engage senior stakeholders on business and regulatory topics as a credible industry expert.
• Shape our regulatory vision and propositions, turning developments such as DORA and NIS2 into scalable client initiatives.
• Collaborate with Industry management, Principal Industry Leads, Client Management, Enterprise Architects, Solution Sales, Presales, Service Lines and product teams to connect regulatory and business needs with feasible solutions. Align countries and Service Lines, bringing together regulatory, business and technology experts for strategic initiatives while keeping client outcomes central.
• Monitor financial services regulation and deepen your market, client and sector knowledge, sharing business insights and practical recommendations with the Industry team.
• Capture and reuse experience, client results and effective approaches to strengthen future engagements. Turn Cegeka expertise, intellectual property and successful local initiatives into repeatable European regulatory and compliance propositions that support scalable growth.

• You hold a master’s degree.
• You have relevant experience in industry consulting, business consulting, business analysis, architecture or advisory roles, with extensive financial services experience and an understanding of how financial institutions operate.
• You combine strong financial services and regulatory knowledge with an affinity for technology, connecting clients’ regulatory obligations and business needs with Cegeka’s services, technology capabilities and expertise.
• You understand financial services regulation, including DORA and NIS2, and the compliance, risk, cybersecurity and digital transformation challenges facing financial institutions.
• You can advise financial institutions and prepare and facilitate tailored workshops and advisory sessions. You translate regulation, client challenges and sector knowledge into business insights, recommendations, transformation priorities, requirements, use cases and initial solution concepts.
• You communicate credibly with senior stakeholders, turning complex regulation and client insights into clear presentations, proposals and presales content.
• You collaborate effectively with Industry teams, Service Lines, product teams and expert communities, combining strong consulting skills with commercial insight in an industry advisory role.
• You continuously develop your market, client and sector knowledge, sharing reusable insights, experience and client results.
• You communicate fluently in English. Additional European languages are an advantage.
• You are based in Belgium, the Netherlands or Luxembourg and are comfortable working in a hybrid environment, including regular interaction at Cegeka offices and client locations.
