Hey, you there! Are you looking for an internship for the 2024-2025 school year? Then we have the perfect challenge for you! Do you want to gain experience as a software and automation engineer? Then read on! You will join an experienced team of engineers who build distributed applications for the automation of our data center.

  • You will be part of the team responsible for software development, from analysis to implementation, testing, and delivery. Depending on your interests and skills, you may be assigned different tasks.
  • You will participate in the bi-weekly sprints, work on user stories, resolve/identify bug reports, and help determine if a story is clear enough.
  • You will learn how to integrate with other systems, integrate APIs, and understand what data modeling entails.
  • You will be exposed to various data center technologies.
  • In addition to being part of the team, you will also work on your own project: Our automations have a variety of dynamic configuration data and business rules. This allows some parts of the automation to change without code modifications. Currently, this configuration is limited to reading input files (CSV).
  • You will be responsible for creating a full-stack web application (Django) that handles the modification of these configurations and business rules.
  • During this project, you will build your own Docker images and CI/CD pipelines.
  • You will have the opportunity to create a business application: from requirements analysis to developing and deploying your application on a Kubernetes cluster. This project can be tailored to your interests and skills.

What you need to succeed:

  • Are you studying for a Bachelor's in Applied Computer Science or a Master's in Computer Science? Check!
  • You have a basic knowledge of Python.
  • Do you already have experience or knowledge with the following technologies and tools: Django and Flask frameworks, React, Docker, WSL, and Linux? That would be great, but if not, no worries!
  • You can always learn and grow with us. You are very eager to start this challenging internship!
