Do you enjoy diving into challenging and complex IT-related problems? Do you like designing and developing solutions? Does it energize you to present those solutions to customers in a convincing way? In this versatile role as Senior Presales Architect, you work on technical and strategic solutions within the hybrid cloud and security domains. You actively contribute to shaping cloud and datacenter solutions that align with our customers’ objectives. You are responsible for developing efficient strategies in which cost, continuity and quality are always guaranteed.

  • Solution architecture and strategic alignment: You define the high-level architecture of the solution and safeguard the alignment and consistency of the chosen strategy. You create clarity and ensure a coherent build-up of the end-to-end solution
  • Translating customer needs into technical solutions: You respond to RFPs and tenders by translating customer requirements into technical solutions that leverage the unique strengths of our full portfolio, with a focus on domains such as hybrid cloud and security
  • Collaboration and alignment: You work closely with presales domain architects, the bid manager and the sales team to develop a consistent and feasible solution
  • Transition management: You calculate and analyze the costs and benefits of transitions and perform risk analyses for the proposed transition approaches. You manage transitions end-to-end and ensure they are executed without disruption for the customer
  • Stakeholder management and customer interaction: You manage stakeholders effectively by gathering all necessary information to fully understand the customer’s needs and align closely with their vision and requirements
  • Development of roadmaps and future-oriented strategies: Building on the existing architecture, you develop a long-term roadmap that guides the customer toward the future with a proactive vision on technology and services
  • Clear reporting and budget management: You monitor costs and budgets from start to finish. You prepare clear and compelling proposals that clearly articulate the value of the solution
  • Implementation support: The blueprint you develop forms the foundation for the implementation of the solution. The team of technical/lead architects and engineers can rely on your clear and guiding handover prior to the rollout phase.

What you need to succeed:

  • Education and experience: You hold a bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in a relevant field, with extensive experience as an IT (presales) architect and in-depth knowledge of hybrid cloud solutions (such as Azure, Kubernetes, private cloud, brokering, and datacenter architecture), middleware and security.
  • Transition expertise: You have experience with transition management and know how to smoothly transform complex environments into modernized structures. You are able to perform transition impact calculations and apply risk management in a strategic manner.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills: You possess strong analytical capabilities, present fluently, and are persuasive in communicating complex solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including C-level 
  • Technical skills: You are comfortable working with tools such as Excel, PowerPoint and Word to create clear and detailed presentations and analyses
  • Multilingualism: Excellent knowlegde of Dutch and English is required. Knowledge of French is a strong asset
  • Customer focus and persuasion: You have a keen sense of empathy and know how to convince customers with solutions that add value and meet their expectations
  • Results-driven with a focus on quality: You are resilient under pressure, results-oriented and consistently prioritize quality. You enjoy working toward deadlines and are driven to tackle challenges effectively, even when information is incomplete.
