  • Performs general ledger accounting functions as needed and/or assigned (general ledger, suppliers & customers invoices, expense notes, bank and petty-cash transactions, timesheets registration follow-up and validation etc.) for the purpose of ensuring that department functions are completed in an accurate and timely manner during short times of need.
  • Responds to inquiries from a wide variety of sources (employees, vendors, auditors, etc.) for the purpose of facilitating communication and/or providing guidance among several parties; and providing information and/or referral for addressing inquiry. 
  • Reconciles a wide variety of accounting data for the purpose of maintaining accurate account balances and ensuring compliance with established accounting practices.
  • Participates in meetings, trainings, workshops, etc. for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information required to perform job functions. 
  • Compiles a wide variety of financial information related to work assignments for the purpose of providing required documentation and/or processing information. 
  • Assist in projects for the development of new systems and processes and formulate proposals to ensure that the operational processes and existing tools/procedures are optimized and automated where possible.
  • Stay well-informed about the evolutions and developments related to accountancy, keep his/her knowledge up-to-date within the context of the amendments to regulations in order to strengthen his/her credibility by offering a service that is continuously based on updated knowledge.

What you need to succeed:

  • Graduate of Economical Sciences University, Accounting specialization
  • 3+ years of experience in Accounting
  • Experience with automated tasks and processes is a plus
  • Excellent English skills both written and spoken
  • Good knowledge of IFRS accounting standards
  • Analytical mindset & accuracy
  • Passion to learn and grow
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel
