As Business Controller, you will perform economic analyses and will provide the management  with all required information necessary to make decisions. At the same time, you will optimize finance  and administration processes.  You will report directly to SSC Business Controlling Team Lead.#LI-DNI

  • Report on financial performance and prepare for regular management reviews
  • Work closely with Business Unit Managers and with all the support functions within the  organization
  • Ensure that the budget and the operational results are followed to guarantee that this data  is closely monitored and is adjusted on time
  • Evaluate the performance by comparing actual results with budget and forecast
  • Act as Project Manager for development of new systems such as resource planning, balanced  score cards, etc. to ensure that the best possible implementation can be guaranteed
  • Guide the budgeting and forecast process
  • Various ad hoc analysis and requests
  • Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc  reports, tools, dashboards and recommendation of actions for optimization
  • Give advice on and implementing automated administrative systems
  • Draw up, check and follow up financial reporting procedures to ensure that the quality of the  used processes and tools can be improved
  • Ensure you are well-informed about the evolutions and developments related to controlling  and that your knowledge is up-to-date within the context of the evolutions to ensure your  credibility can be strengthened by offering a service that is continuously based on updated  knowledge

What you need to succeed:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration are  preferred major fields
  • 5+ years of experience as finance/business controller or other relevant experience
  • Strong analytical and logical thinking ability
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills
  • Analytical mindset & accuracy
  • Passion to learn and grow
  • Show initiative and ownership
  • Comfort dealing with ambiguity and the ability to work independently
  • Good business acumen
  • Excellent English skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
