Network Security Engineers (French)

As an Operational Security Engineer – Network Filtering, you play a critical role in safeguarding the production IT environment. Your core responsibility is to ensure resilient, compliant, and secure filtering across all network layers, protecting critical systems, sensitive data, and banking operations from internal and external cyber threats. You will focus particularly on the control and recertification of firewall rules, working across operational security, infrastructure, and architecture teams to maintain robust filtering governance and compliance with Group-wide cybersecurity policies.

• Perform monthly compliance checks and validate newly implemented firewall rules. Lead the annual recertification of all firewall flows impacting organizational assets. Enforce security policies (e.g., forbidden protocols) and maintain conformity dashboards. Report deviations and aim for 100% firewall rule coverage annually. Security Governance & CollaborationLiaise with infrastructure, production, security (CISO), and business unit representatives. Act as the technical point of contact for filtering solutions and rule validations. Contribute to the preparation of security governance meetings and validation processes. Ensure operational continuity of filtering solutions: FW, Proxy, WAF, DDOS. Analyze application and technical flows for compliance and proper configuration. Maintain documentation, dashboards, and incident resolution processes. Escalate and follow up on non-compliance or deviation cases. You will also interact with broader security domains, including:Identity & Access Management, Security Operations Center (SOC) monitoring, Vulnerability detection & remediation, Data protection and encryption controls

• Proven experience in operational security or network engineering roles, preferably in enterprise environments. Strong hands-on expertise with firewall platforms: Checkpoint, Fortinet, and PaloAlto (600+ nodes). Experience with micro-segmentation technologies, especially Illumio (30,000+ VEN agents). Solid understanding of filtering architectures, firewall rule governance, and recertification processes. Familiarity with key security frameworks and standards: NIST, CIS, and ISO 27001. Excellent collaboration, technical documentation, and reporting skills.
