As Project Controller, you will perform economic analyses and will provide the management with all required information necessary to make decisions. At the same time, you will optimize finance and administration processes. You will report directly to SSC Business Unit Manager.

  • What you will do:
  • Monitor financial-administrative transactions by checking them closely and making improvements in a timely manner
  • Set up control programs for internal control and various sub administrations
  • Analyze these control programs
  • Follow up on outstanding issues
  • Various ad hoc analysis and requests
  • Assess and predict write-offs based on investment plans
  • Prepare and compile the balance sheet and the profit and loss account
  • Analyze the monthly figures and report about them
  • Prepare the budget for the department
  • Draw up a realistic forecast based on registered orders and in consultation with the project leaders
  • Develop procedures for and give advice in accordance with the guidelines
  • Compile a wide variety of financial information related to work assignments for the purpose of providing required documentation and/or processing information
  • Give advice on and implementing automated administrative systems
  • Follow-up on accounts receivable and provide information to the management about this to ensure potential issues with accounts receivable are reported to the management
  • Coordinate and draw up the quantitative business plan for a business unit, based on the targets defined by the management and in cooperation with the business unit managers, thus supporting the managers to contribute to the organizational objectives in the best possible manner

What you need to succeed:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or equivalent
  • 1 to 2 years of experience as project controller.
  • Knowledge of analytical accounting
  • Knowledge of administrative control obligations
  • Fluency in English
  • Analytical mindset
