We are looking for a Project Coordinator to join our project management team whose mission is to work closely with project managers and support the PMO organization in maintaining and monitoring project parameters, process abidance, documentation, reporting and tooling. You would pe part of the EDC Infra (European Delivery Center Infrastructure) Project Management Team currently staffed from Romania while working within the project management practice spanning also across Belgium and the Netherlands, delivering projects both for our external customers as well as for the internal organization. Our project delivery model follows the PRINCE2 framework, which means that we respect specific standards for project preparation, documentation and execution, which are implemented corporate-wide. From a governance perspective, our management team ensures recurrent 1to1 and team meetings are organized to support both the growth and development of our team members, as well as to provide transparency and context for the business decisions and overall direction. #LI-AP1 

  • You are part of the project management team in which you play a key role in ensuring all projects follow expected best practices from all perspectives
  • Together with the project managers, you will maintain and monitor project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets and expenditures
  • You will organize, attend and participate in internal stakeholder meetings to ensure governance delivers the expected results
  • You will contribute to the preparation of necessary presentation materials for meetings
  • You will actively ensure that project deadlines are met, assist with determining project changes / issues / risks and their appropriate assessment
  • You will provide administrative support to the project management team as needed as well as undertake project specific tasks as required
  • You will act as a guardian for each project, ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately
  • You will ensure stakeholder views are managed towards achieving the best solution and expected benefits
  • You will chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members
  • Act as a single point of contact for EDC Infra Project Team resource / project requests and distribute workload / assignments appropriately in collaboration with the department manager

What you need to succeed:

  • Very good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Project and Microsoft Visio
  • Experience with project coordination roles within multi-disciplinary teams (IT Infrastructure experience is a plus)
  • Excellent reporting skills, file management, transcription and other administrative procedures
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • We consider a plus: ITIL v3 or v4 Foundation Certification and also experience with PowerBI reporting and Microsoft SharePoint or Office 365 SharePoint solutions
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field of study
  • You have minimum of 3 years working experience and a minimum of 1 year spent in a similar position
  • You are friendly and professional in dealing with the customer and are able to demonstrate customer focus
  • You have strong communication skills, are proactive, team and customer-oriented
  • You have a strong desire to work in a collaborative environment, to adopt new technologies and keep the pace with an ever growing customer and technology base
  • You are result-driven with a keen eye for quality and detail, stress resistant and can deliver within tight deadlines
  • You have the ability to adapt to constant changing business priorities
  • Be passionate towards the IT industry and interested in self-development
  • Have strong team spirit and get involved in the development of the team
  • Be punctual and flexible, willing to listen, learn and also share your knowledge with the team
  • Excellent English skills, both written and verbal
  • Proactively contribute to building and maintaining a focused and positive atmosphere within the team and organization
